New friends

Camdyn finally got to meet one of my best friends from KC, Jenn S (yes I know, ALL of my friends are named Jenn, Jennifer or Jenny). Camdyn loved her of course....Camdyn hasn't been feeling well lately, she has had a small cold, but has toughed through it without a doctor involved:)

It's been a while since I have written...things are going very well..I started a new career path as a communications associate for Heartland Health, our local hospital. At first, I have to admit, I wasn't so sure that I made the right move. After three weeks, I'm positive I have. I will be doing a weekly newsletter, which is the number one form of employee communications in a hospital that employs over 3,000 people. I will also be working on employee recognition through a program called Center Stage Awards, where we award employees for "jobs well done". I will also be working on various other projects that come along.

I have had to learn many new things and the list just gets bigger and bigger. It is helpful that I work with a FANTASTIC group of people, they have been kind and welcoming and boy are they smart! I need to make sure to take my ginko!

I have a prayer request...I have friend going in for surgery on the 6th of November. It is a surgery that they can possibly do laproscopically (sp?)...so please pray for the doctor's hands to be guided by God and that her surgery goes well...her name is, you guessed it...Jenny!

I've added a few new pics....some with Jenn S and Camdyn. One where Camdyn wanted to show us her belly (so cute) and then the final picture cracked me up. Laney and Camdyn, THE SHOWDOWN....Laney is still not sure that she thinks Camdyn should stick around, especially now that Camdyn has noticed how fun it is to pull, I mean pet laney!
