Here comes the bride....

Amy and I hosted a bridal shower this weekend for Kristy, who is marrying our cousin Boober (ok, real name Rob)! Boober is one of our favorite people, but we would NEVER tell him that, his head would get WAY to BIG! Kristy has been a good friend of the family for a long time and we are excited to finally have her be a part of the family!

I was lucky enough to see one of my BEST friends this weekend and one of Camdyn's Godmothers, Monica. She just got back from a conference in Florida and is on her way back to Springfield. She will be moving to CO soon, so we take every chance we get to see her AND it was her Birthday! Happy B-Day Monnie!

New Job

I am starting a new job on the 16th. I will be working in the marketing/communications department at Heartland Health. It was a VERY hard decision for me, because I have been in radio for 12 years! First off, I can't believe that I am old enough to have been in a profession for TWELVE YEARS! What happened to the freckled face, red headed little girl....OH WAIT, I'm still the freckled face red headed girl:) I will miss radio a great deal, but this was a great opportunity for me to learn new skills and to take the things I LOVE about radio and utilize those skills in a new, but similar field. Pray for me and my family that this is the move we were supposed to make and that I will enjoy this new journey! Before I left the office on Friday, I had to say goodbyes, which were hard...but as you can see, these two were not shedding any tears! This is my former boss Kevin and my good buddy BJ from Eagle Radio...I will miss them both!

I couldn't resist this! Ronell gave us a whole bunch of Lauren's clothes and my favorite has to be this little piggy hat...So naturally I slapped it on Camdyn and grabbed the camera....towards the end you can tell that she had enough of mommy's foolerie! I personally like the ones where she is saying "Smell my feet"! "Seriously, smell my feet"! After all of the picture taking, she was tuckered out and daddy was a soft place to fall asleep!

My great Aunt Pat gave me lots of new clothes and mommy really liked this jump suit, so I tried it on and surprise! I looked C-U-T-E, cute!
